Having collaborated now for over 23 years, LUMBEROB & KRAMER create a majestic avalanche of sound. This music is urgent madness, at times overflowingly decorative, at times lusciously spastic, with an unpredictably eclectic sonic vaudeville energy. Call it electro-skank, call it DADA-pop. They go hard.
FEBRUARY 2022 saw the release of Lumberob LP LANGUAGE LEARNER, mixed and mastered by Kramer, released on Shimmy.
Kramer has been living down in Hallandale for twenty years; Rob was born in Stuart and graduated from Martin County High School in 1993: Go Tigers!
MOST IMPORTANTLY – Rob was an original inhabitant (and lifelong friend) of John Clements CONFUSION RECORDS when it lived on CONFUSION CORNER in Stuart in the early 90s. Thankfully John steered him through the smokey haze toward certain Shimmy-Disc records like Ween’s The Pod and Kramer’s The Guilt Trip : indelible marks which left him hobbled as an art rocker for life.
