Punk music ages better when the focus is on surviving life in the gutter. I’m not saying that this is groundbreaking or the definitive music of a generation but it resonates the same way early Ramones resonates, the way Richard Hell resonates—in the simplicity and un-glorified honesty of expressing the small emotional span of human sentiment (joy and suffering). – ALT CITIZEN
